How they look in each channel

Your team and your customers see them inside the order. No one calculates anything.

Rep app

When opening the order, the rep sees how many promotions that customer has, the details of each one, and applies them with a tap. It works even offline.

Telesales

The telesales rep sees each line's discount and how much the customer saves, to close the sale over the phone with solid arguments.

B2B eCommerce store

Your customers see the tiers before buying, the free goods in the cart and their savings, and order more to reach the next tier.

How an order is calculated

A fixed, predictable order. Always the same result.

When an order has several promotions, Samply always applies them in the same order. The result is the same in the app, telesales and the store.

  1. 1
Price from the customer's listEach customer buys with their list: traditional, wholesale, supermarkets.
    $79.20
  2. 2
Product discountsIf two apply to the same product, priority from 1 to 99 decides. Milk × 24: 8% tier.
    −$4.03
  3. 3
Free goodsThey're resolved by their behavior: always applies, adds up, or the best one wins. Juices: buy 12, +2 free.
    +2 UN
  4. 4
Order-value discountLast, on the subtotal. Orders from $60: 3%.
    −$2.26
  5. =
Order totalEach line records which promotion applied and which group it belongs to.
    $72.91
Free goods by tiersEach tier multiplies: a 10 + 1 deal, buying 30, gives 3 free.

Units the customer buys → free units, with three offers: 10 + 1, 15 + 2 and 20 + 5, and “the best one wins”.

From idea to result, with everything under control.

Lifecycle of each promotion

  1. PendingJust created or edited
  2. ApprovedA manager approved it
  3. ActiveWithin its dates
  4. Expired or deletedStays in the history

If someone edits an approved promotion, it goes back to pending. Deleted ones stay for reference and can't be reactivated by mistake.

Investment by promotion group

Group campaigns by budget or cost center. Each order line stores the discounted amount by group and reaches your ERP through the API, to compare against the budget.

Bulk upload

Import hundreds of discounts from Excel with a template file, and create free goods for many products at once.

FAQ

What people ask us about trade promotions.

What happens if two promotions apply to the same product?

Between discounts, priority from 1 to 99 decides. Between free-goods offers, their behavior decides: always applies, adds to the others, or the best one wins. And for each bundle you decide whether it stacks with other discounts.

Can I create a promotion for just one sales channel?

Yes. Each promotion can be live only in the rep app, only in telesales, only in the B2B eCommerce store, or in all of them.

How do I avoid giving away margin?

With discount ranges per rep, minimum prices per product, budget caps per group and management approval before any promotion goes live.

Do promotions reach my ERP?

Yes. Each order line travels with the promotion applied, the discount, the free units and the promotion group, through our public API.

Do I have to enter promotions one by one?

No. Discounts are imported from Excel with a template file and free goods are created in bulk. And with dynamic groups, a new product or customer gets the promotion automatically.

How long does it take for a promotion to go live?

As long as the approval takes. Once approved, it applies from its start date on all the chosen channels.

Who it's for

Is it for you? Probably yes, if…

Samply is for you if…

  • You're creative with promotions, discounts, bundles and free goods, and your ERP is rigid: it won't let you set them up quickly or track them.
  • You want each customer, channel or region to have its own commercial policy.
  • You need to measure what you invest in each campaign.

It's not for you if…

  • You sell with a single price list and never run promotions.
  • You only sell to end consumers.
